For some reason, the default detection for the audio jack was set to headphones, so I had to change that to headset and BADABING!! It started working. I made sure that the proper drivers were installed from the manufacturer's website ( ), and opened up Realtek Audio Console.
Thanks to SnooCapers1500, I was able to finally figure out the issue. Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this issue? Am I the only one having this issue? I tried updating the audio drivers and updating windows along with checking to make sure everything was set correctly as the default device. However, when I plug my headset into the headphone jack, it won't detect the microphone and the laptop will continue using the built-in microphone in the laptop. I just got my Gigabyte Aorus 15G YC laptop about a week ago, and I wanted to use my headset (HyperX Cloud Stinger) with the laptop to game on Warzone.
